Asian Australian Film Forum

I delivered the keynote address to the inaugural Asian Australian Film Forum in Melbourne on 12-13 November, 2011.  It was a wonderful gathering of filmmakers, actors, and academics for a weekend of stimulating discussions and screenings, including  Corrie Chen’s Wonder Boy, Pearl Tan’s Baby Cakes, Min Tran’s trailer for his horror flick Roses are Dead and Khoa Do’s exceptional feature film Motherfish.  Below is a still from Matt Huynh’s animation, Lion Dancers.  Visit the Facebook page for the Asian Australian Film Forum and Network.
